Ira Boyd Humphreys : [collection] : 1926-1984.

Humphreys' father had extensive holdings in mining, oil and real estate ventures in Denver. After the death of his father, Humphreys and his brother operated as equal entities in his family's extensive business holdings. Trained as an engineer, Humphreys invented the spiral concentrator, which helped to revolutionize mining by separating valuable metals from gravel. This collection consists of correspondence, minutes, and other documents relating to the varied business holdings of Humphreys.
